Lori Galbraith has a passion for teaching children and adults and seeing them become more of who they are and can be. She has been teaching children and adults for more than 20 years in community and professional settings. There are many types of yoga, and she is trained to focus on the physical & mental benefits of yoga including building strength, increasing flexibility and balance and reducing stress through connecting the breath to movement. This yoga is for everyday people who want to become healthier. You begin where you are and improve as you go. Over the last seven years, she has built her training and certifications to teach yoga to all ages. She is nationally certified as a fitness instructor through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and holds yoga specialty certifications in Children’s Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child, Pre/Post Natal Yoga, and Yoga for Adults, including Seniors. She has taken over 250 hours of continuing education workshops from nationally recognized yoga instructors. Lori is also certified with the National Aquatic Exercise Assocation (AEA) and the Arthritis Foundation to work with people who want to improve their fitness, flexibility, strength and/or balance through movement in the water. She has been teaching swimming to preschoolers through seniors for 23 years and enjoys working with those with special needs in the water whenever possible. She has studied with the Aquatic Therapy Institute in D.C. & Chicago and enjoys working with clients when they complete their physical therapy. In summary, she is a teacher at heart and looks forward to working with you to meet your goals or to take a break from it all! Lori, along with her husband, Burt, welcome you to exploring new possibilities with Yoga for All Ages! This is your time.
